  11. This is an evolution of an example program I have found on the Blitz2 (Blitz
  12. Basic 2.1) paper manual.
  13. I always need a base converter while I am using my AMIGAs but before I use this
  14. program I had to convert numbers with my scientific calculator; now that there
  15. is this program I can easily convert decimal, hexadecimal, octal, binary and two
  16. complement numbers on the fly!
  17. At start the language used for the converter is italian; you can choose by menu
  18. the english language if you prefer it; however you can modify and recompile the
  19. Blitz2 source code for your language if you have Blitz2; if you don't have
  20. Blitz2, you can use instead AmiBlitz2, the freeware evolution of Blitz2, either
  21. searching on Aminet or surfing on the official Blitz2 site, that is
  22. http://www.blitz-2000.co.uk/.
  23. This version of my prog enable the english language at start if you rename it
  24. as Converter instead of the italian Convertitore!
  25. Now this program window and its contents should appear correctly under higher
  26. AMIGA OS than 3.0!

  36. Questo programma è una evoluzione di un programma d'esempio che ho trovato sul
  37. manuale cartaceo di Blitz2 (Blitz Basic 2.1).
  38. Ho sempre avuto bisogno di un programma che convertisse i numeri in basi diverse
  39. ma prima di usare questo programma dovevo convertire i numeri con la mia
  40. calcolatrice scientifica; ora che c'è questo programma posso facilmente
  41. convertire numeri decimali, esadecimali, ottali, binari e complemento a due al
  42. volo!
  43. All'avvio il linguaggio usato dal convertitore è l'italiano; se preferite
  44. l'inglese  potete selezionarlo dal menu'; comunque potete sempre modificare e
  45. ricompilare il codice sorgente per la vostra lingua de avete Blitz2; se non lo
  46. avete, potete usare invece AmiBlitz2, l'evoluzione gratuita di Blitz2, o
  47. cercando su Aminet oppure andando sul sito ufficiale di Blitz2, cioé
  48. http://www.blitz-2000.co.uk/.
  49. Questa versione del mio programma abilita la lingua inglese all'avvio se
  50. rinominate in programma come Converter al posto dell'italiano Convertitore!
  51. Ora la finestra di questo programma ed i suoi contenuti dovrebbero apparire
  52. correttamente con un sistema operativo AMIGA maggiore di 3.0!
